Teacher Ellie_P Thank you for kind words as always. I also have never stsyed at Lamp Inn in Suzu City, but my son stayed there two years ago with his family. He told me how amazing guests can enjoy its special atmosphere at night. So my wife and I considered to stay the accomodation, but the Inn unfortunately is closed due to the Noto Great Earthquake. Suzu City is still under reconstruction to bounce back from damages and devastation. There is a huge amount of rubbles as a result of house collapse that needs about one year to get removed. Roads are bumping and twisted, and infrastructure is severely damaged particularly water supply system. No one cannot mention when Suzu City will fully recover. However, our prefecture and the Japanese government decided to allocating the special budget to help the people in Suzu City. So the situation is now getting better little by little. Thank you for corrections that are useful to me. I understand that I should capitalize every first letter of a title or name. Best regards, 5971mak

Teacher Ellie_P Thank you for kind words as always. I understand that I should pay attention between singular and plural as well as 3rd person singular. Patients have to spend certain hours to see a doctor despite general malaise when they suffer from sicknesses. Everybody hope to cut down on the waiting time at clinics. AI diagnosis may be effective to shotening the waste of time since it can reduce the number of people who visit doctors by avoiding individuals with minor symptoms from seeing doctors. Thank you for corrections that are helpful to me. Best regards, 5971mak .

Teacher Ellie_P Thank you for kind words as always. In Japan, "Simple labor'' is a term commonly used to refer to labor that is easy to undertake and involves repetitive work that is fixed to a certain extent. The work does not require specialized skills, and you can work without any educational background or specific skills or experience. Simple labor mainly applies to store clerks and factory workers. I understand the idiom "in the long haul". Thank you for corrections that are useful to me. Best regards, 5971mak

Teacher Ellie_P Thank you for kind words as always. When the Lehman Shock occurred, Western countries including Japan implemented large-scale monetary easing to stop economic stagnation. As a result of the monetary easing, these countries activates their economy. Although Japan economy is recovering, Japanese companies are struggling due to a lack of globalization. Many workers still have difficulty in communicating in English. It is causing less competitiveness because not only Japanese workers to work abroad but also Japanese residents not to familiar with foreigners. In addition, in order to recover from the recession, the Japanese government has issued 500 trillion yen in bonds over the past 20 years. Currently, Japan's national debt is approximately 1,200 trillion yen, which is three times the country's gross national product. Against this difficult circumstance, interest rates have been set low to keep the amount of this debt low. Due to this huge debt and low interest rates, the monetary value of the Japanese yen has been damaged and the Japanese yen continues to depreciate. The Japanese government has no solution, and this trend is expected to continue. Japanese people have no choice but to save money and have to endure the rising prices in daily life. The situation of Japanese economy is dismal, but outside spring has come and cherry blossom is blooming in this week. Many of Japanese residents visit the places where they can enjoy watching the scenery that Cherry blossom petals are fluttering in the air. The scene is so elegant and cute that Japanese people think the blooming is must do in Spring. Thank you for corrections that are useful to me. Best regards, 5971mak

Teacher Ellie_P Thank you for kind words as always. I have several friends who live in danchi complexes and opportunities to visit them. The danchi is so common that people can have their own homes that are lower prices than prices of detached homes. When the danchi buildings are newly constructed, interiors and outside are clean and modern. However, as years goes by, the buildings become damaged by aging. Since the danchi buildings and premises are shared by residents who own their rooms, it is frequently difficult for them to agree with how they manage the buildings becoming dirty and obsoleted. Some of them agree, but some of them don't feel the necessity of renovation. Consequently, they fail making agreetents to refurbish and give up repairing after all. To prevent such difficult circumstances, local governments should mandate the owners to require the damage checks by housing makers every five or ten years so that they have to take actions to repair the damages. As Japanese society rapidly ages, the issues of elderly residents in danchi are serious problems. Thank you for corrections that are helpful to me. Best regards, 5971mak

Teacher Ellie_P Thank you for kind words as always. Having enough sleep is essential to be active in daily life. When I don't sleep well, I feel lethargy and have difficulty working hard. It is common for me to practice daily habits to sleep well, such as relaxing at night, not drinking a cup of coffee at night, and get up early regularly. These daily routines make me feel sleepy and have enough sleep. Thank you for corrections that are useful to me. Best regards, 5971mak

Teacher Ellie_P Thank you for kind words as always. I am also surprised to know only three countries in Asis running maglev bullet trains. I don't know the reason why other countries don't introduce the technology. I suppose that other countries rely on airplane ahead of the new trains because of its huge amount of investment. It is said that the new bullet trains need specialized lines to realize high speed. Given the vast cost, I am afraid that the new trains might fail achiveing cost-effectiveness. By the way, chemicals are now an important concern to cultivate rice which is soul food of Japanese citizens. A variety of pesticides and artificial fertilizer are regurally consumed to raise rice yields. As farmers use more chemicals, they can increase the amount of yields in rice fields. Imagine the scene where no insects in rice fields, and silence would be horrible. Who will eat the harvest where no incects can survive. As consumers raise their awareness regarding chemicals, more people prefer purchasing the crops and vegetables that are grown in restricted amount of chemicals nowadays. Agricultural products with low pesticides are the latest trend in Japan. Thank you for corrections that are helpful to me. Best regards, 5971mak
