Hi, Ellie In Japan, unskilled doctors tried to use an endoscope in order to show off their skills. They sometimes killed patients, because they refused to give up in the middle. If they had accepted advice from other doctors and done just a normal surgery, patients could have been alive. Several lawsuits have been filed against such doctors, however, it is fairly difficult to prove them. I really hope that this new technology will help many patients without casualties.
