Hobbies/Travel
My hobbies are reading, going out with friends, watching movies and traveling. I grew up in Canada and moved to Greece when I was thirty years old. I have also visited the U.S.A many times. I have visited many countries in Europe. Each country has its own unique beauty. I loved Budapest, Thessaloniki and Madrid. Vancouver and Seattle are also my favorites. Now I live in Madrid, Spain.

Hi Ellie, I read the newspaper as you recommended right away. It was difficult for me, but, from now on, I'll try it daily. Thank you! Masa27

Thank you for your correction. My tenugui's brand is "Hamamonyo", it cost 900 yen in Japan. I found "Hamamonyo" and "Miyamoto" tengui in Spain Amazon. "Miyamoto" tenugui is more inexpensive than "Hamamonyo". I'm very happy to read your message. Thank you! Here is a web site about Hamamonyo. https://www.hamamonyo.jp/english

Thank you! I'm learning from your correction. Thank you for some superstitions about the mirror. In Japan, a cracked mirror is bad luck too, but 7 years of bad luck is not Japanese superstition. Greece superstition is interesting. Thank you a lot.

Thank you for quick response and careful explanations. I didn't know that 'jinx' means a person or thing that is believed to bring "bad" luck. I have learned a lot from you.

Hi Ellie, Thank you for correcting my sentences. I could learn a lot because you gave me two examples for each sentence. I'm going to review thoroughly.

Thank you for your correction. I don't know a Halloumi Burger, but it sounds delicious. The cheeses in Europe are very nice. Teriyaki is sweetened soy sauce. I like this hamburger.

Hi Ellie, Thank you so much for your correction. I totally agree with you. More or less, memories of your childhood has a great impact on your life in many ways. I hope the time I've spent with my kids will be good memories in the future in some way. I've never heard of Jane Eyre. I've looked it up on the Internet. Both the movie and the book looks interesting. I'll definitely read or watch it. Best, Masa

“I never caught up with her Mii-chan.” It was a typo. I intended to write “I never caught up with Mii-chan.” “Did you skate when you were their age?” Yes, I’ve skated once or twice. However, I didn’t like to do it so much.

“I wonder why no women replied to your invitation till now; are they too busy, too shy, etc.?” I didn't know their contacts except the lady’s.
