I have visited many countries in Europe. Each country has its own unique beauty. I loved Budapest, Thessaloniki and Madrid. Vancouver and Seattle are also my favorites. Now I live in Madrid, Spain.

Teacher Ellie_P Thank you for kind words as always. I agree with the fun time living in a campers. According to brochures of large campers, drivers and passengers can relax and have an enjoyable time because of its large indoor space. The new way of travel may become normal in Japan, too. Camping is one of the outdoor activities in Summer, staying outdoor in the campers with their family will be unforgettable memories for their children. Thank you for corrections that are helpful to me. Best regards, 5971mak

Teacher Ellie_P Thank you for kind words as always. I agree with the beauty of hina dolls which wear beautiful and colorful clothes as a decoration. Doll festival for girls and the decoration of Samurai helmet for boys are still one of the social norms in Japan. Most Japanese still think that every gender should have one's celebration. However, there is an argument that Hina dolls give children the idea that women should be obedient and dependent on men. It is sometimes used to refer to issues of discrimination against women, as it leads to the gender role of men and women in society and to looking down on women. While female enpowerment has been spreaded, the number of female worker, who disagree with the doll festival, may increase in the future. Thank you for corrections that are helpful to me. Teacher Ellie_P Thank you for kind words as always. I understand that I should have written "Nishiki Market has been ・・・" because the market was established 400 years ago. By the way, I was born in Kyoto and lived until I was 18 years old. At the time when I lived in Kyoto, the number of foreign tourists were still low. However, once Japanese anime and cuisine have become popular all over the world, the number of foreign travellers has been skyrocketing. Currently, when I have something to meet my relatives who live in Kyoto, I avoid visiting Kyoto on weekend because of heavy crowds. I feel exhausted because I have to spend a lot of waiting time. While I am glad that Kyoto attracts many foreigners, I am annoyed with a huge number of visitors. Thank you for corrections that are useful to me. Best regards, 5971mak

Teacher Ellie_P Thank you for kind words as always. I understand that I should have written gas station attendants. By the way, I am deeply concerned the rapid expansion of AI and machines that reduces human labor. Year after year, the number of job offers that hire regular workers clearly declines and instead more companies increase temporaly employees to save labor cost. As a result, when young adults want to get high-pay jobs, they need some special talents and skills before others. Before university graduation, those who hope to be hired by companies have to be proficient using computer and speaking in English. It is not easy for them to acquire but many of them challenge nowadays. Without limitation of the companies strategy to prioritize profits, they will struggle getting their jobs. Governments should take action balancing workers situation and companies profits. To sustain continuous economic growth, I believe that a fair share should be allocated by companies to workers. Thank you for corrections that are helpful to me. Best regards, 5971mak

Teacher Ellie_P Thank you for kind words as always. We also have a similar expression like "current elderly are 10 years younger than before." Many elderly make efforts to maintain their youthfulness for a happy life. As Japan ageing with declining economy, it is essential for them to be in good health. They don't have to worry for their future as long as they have good health. I also pay attention to practice healthy life habits such as non-smoking, regular exercise, studying something continuously, and reading a lot of books. In Japan, there is a proverb "Sound physical health can have sound mind". I believe that books can teach the narratives that I don't know. I regularly read around one hundred novels a year, and some of them can give strong impressions and expression, resulting a full of sentiment in my mind deeply. These emotions can make me keep as smart and clear thoughts as I was young. Thank you for corrections that are useful to me. Best regards, 5971mak

Teacher Ellie_P Thank you for kind words as always. Thanks to school teachers instruction that gives caution to the usage of smartphones, many students abide by the rules regarding their smartphones. Most schools prohibit them to turn on the digital gadgets during they are in schools. Students should focus on classes and don't have to watch screens. This rule is common nowadays in high school and junior high school. Teachers also warn the threats of smartphones such as bullying, SNS dependence, online fraud, game addiction, and plazialism to them. As a result, the dangers of smartphones are generally recognized, and children are usually obedient to what their parents tell them. When some children are against to their parents' instruction, they may frequently become victims of online predators. Although it is not easy for parents to have a good relationship with teenagers who are in a rebellious phase, parents should try delaying the time when children have their own smartphones as much as possible. Lending my smartphone to my sons was available alternative choice when he wanted having a smartphone. My wife and I never agree that my sons have their own ones until they become high school students. Thank you for corrections that are useful to me. Best regards, 5971mak

Teacher Ellie_P Thank you for kind words as always. I understand that I should have written "a" cartoon when I mean one story. As for the difficulty reading novels is not only for children but also for young adults. As smartphones appeared since around 2000, young adults are also a smartphone generation that make them dislike novels. It is now well-known that they prefer reading cartoons with stories and YouTube videos. Having fun time is not bad, but detailed documents with long texts are necessary when it comes to discuss something important. A lack of reading skill may cause miscommunication and misunderstanding unintentionally. In particular, precise and clear expression is indispensable to make an agreement in businesses. Relying on cartoons and smartphones is a concern for the young to raise their communication skill. Thank you for corrections that are helpful to me. Best regards, 5971mak

Teacher Ellie_P Thank you for kind words as always. I understand that I should add "the" when I mention something to be specific. In Japan, solar power can only be used during the day and on sunny days, but by installing a storage battery at home and storing excess power, house owners can use it for your own consumption at night or on bad weather. Due to elevation of oil prices, people worry the bill of monthly oil consumption nowadays. It is said that renewable energy will be a countermeasure to save money. Lowering the price of solar panels is essential for people's lives. Thank you for corrections that are useful to me. Best regards, 5971mak

Teacher Ellie_P Thank you for kind words as always. In the case of my sons, they also didn't understand why they had to learn English in their school curriculum. They had never had chances in speaking English in their daily life. My sons were struggling and annoyed for studying English. All things that they saw and listened to are made with Japanese. As a result, they were lethargy and felt mandatory when they had English classes at school. Particularly, class education were composed of rote memorization of English words, grammertical analysis of sentences, and long text reading. There are few opportunities to practice English conversation that is necessary for English proficiency. Subsequently, they don't use English after graduation and naturally forget most of things that they had learned during school time. Their huge amount of effort to understand English becomes meaningless after all. Under such circumstance, I thought that preaching is useless to help my sons. So I advised them that English is a kind of riddle. I told them that I would give some hints and they should practice grasping the message together. On days when they had English classes, I sat next to my children and worked with them on understanding English until they understood the meaning. By playing the game, they seemed to have become a little more interested in English, and little by little they were getting used to it. Nowadays, my children understand the importance of English and are continuing to study independently. Thank you for corrections that are helpful to me. Best regards, 5971mak

Teacher Ellie_P Thank you for kind words as always. There are two types of charging stations that recharge EVs' betteries. One is for public use and the other is home use. Current Japanese EVs are flexible to connecting these two types. In general, car makers manage EVs can move a whole day by using the home use battery station that needs around 8 hours to finish recharging. However, batteries are weak in Winter due to cold environment due to rapid battery drain. When car owners of EVs may have empty signs of their EVs in cold winter, they have to stop at rapid chargins stations in public for around half one hour. Increasing the size of the storage battery eliminates the need for rapid charging, but increases the weight of the vehicle and reduces energy saving efficiency. I think that local governments should set up comfortable charging stations with free soft drink service so that drivers can enjoy relaxing during waiting time. Thank you for corrections that are useful to me. Best regards, 5971mak
