Hobbies/Travel
My hobbies are reading, going out with friends, watching movies and traveling. I grew up in Canada and moved to Greece when I was thirty years old. I have also visited the U.S.A many times. I have visited many countries in Europe. Each country has its own unique beauty. I loved Budapest, Thessaloniki and Madrid. Vancouver and Seattle are also my favorites. Now I live in Madrid, Spain.

Hi teacher Ellie, Yes, as you mentioned, English education is a fiasco where so many bad guys are making money by selling worthless services and I don't like it ...if I may say... Thank you always for your warm comments !

Hi, thank you very much for your detailed feedback as always. As I used "they" in the above sentence, the meaning of the whole sentence became vague, but the entity that I wanted to explain that they had a lot of delivery staff was Uber-Eats, not the restaurant! The lockdown in Japan was finally lifted! I also saw the news reporting that people are allowed to eat in the open-air space of restaurants in Madrid. Congratulations!

Dear Ms Ellie_P, Thank you for your corrections as well as alternative sentences. Your alternative sentences make me understand how native speakers express things. Also, expressions "accessible" and "disability" were new for me. Thank you very much for your explanations.

Thank you Ellie, I also love this photo of cupcakes. The word "deter" didn't come to my mind. It is useful this situation. Telework time finished and I have to go to work since yesterday. Then, actually I made You Tube channel for the first time today for my business... How incidental! Have a nice day!

Thank you for your kind words, teacher Ellie. Yes, it's a pity that we can't see our students first-hand but I'm so happy to learn that we share the same feeling. Thank you always for your support and see you soon !

Hi Ellie Thank you for your thorough explanation. It was easy to understand. I was elated you gave me many ideas on my essay. To be honest, I wasn't going to write essays here anymore but I've changed my mind because of you.You are a perfect teacher to me and I'd like to follow you from now on. I stayed in Australia for 1 year using a working holiday visa and in the Philippines for 2 months to study IELTS. I just came back to Japan 3 weeks ago. I was planning to take an IELTS this month but it was cancelled due to the COVID-19. Additionally, I don't know when I can take an exam so that I'll keep on studying it until then. My goal score is at least 6.0 but I'd like to attempt to acquire 7.0 in writing. I will submit an essay to you once or twice a week. Have a great one, Ellie:)

Thank you very much for your detailed feedback as always. I have never come across the expression who's who, so was glad to happen to know new one, as well as Brownie points! Here in Japan, charitable donations by celebrities are not focused at all as I mentioned, however, criticism has been growing toward celebrities who tripped to Okinawa, which is an island located the southwest part of Japan and where we can enjoy beautiful sea and local food, inspire of the lockdown.

Thank you for your kind words, teacher Ellie ! It's sad to say some students give up learning due to this unexpected financial crisis, I hope they can find their own sustainable ways so they can continue to learn !
