Hobbies/Travel
My hobbies are reading, going out with friends, watching movies and traveling. I grew up in Canada and moved to Greece when I was thirty years old. I have also visited the U.S.A many times. I have visited many countries in Europe. Each country has its own unique beauty. I loved Budapest, Thessaloniki and Madrid. Vancouver and Seattle are also my favorites. Now I live in Madrid, Spain.
Message from the instructor
Hi. I have a great deal of respect for people who take their writing seriously. I will respect your writing and try my best to correct it in a way that will benefit you and help you clarify those issues that you need to work on. I believe that words are very powerful and can change our lives as well as the world around us. Therefore, no matter what your writing goal is, my job is to help you reach it. I look forward to reading your work! Sincerely, Ellie

Hi, Ellie In Japan, unskilled doctors tried to use an endoscope in order to show off their skills. They sometimes killed patients, because they refused to give up in the middle. If they had accepted advice from other doctors and done just a normal surgery, patients could have been alive. Several lawsuits have been filed against such doctors, however, it is fairly difficult to prove them. I really hope that this new technology will help many patients without casualties. This technology could be a game-changer, if it is used properly. Regards, Hiroko

Dear Teacher Ellie_P, Thank you for your comments. I understood that you suggested two grammatical mistakes of both parts of 'interested' and 'have been P.P'. Have a nice rest of weekend! Best, Yukibaseball12

Dear Teacher Ellie_p, Thank you for your nice comments. Comments you suggested are right. I also read my sentences, but they are contradicted. In this sentence "how important the spirit of religious belief...", I also agree with 'strongly' is much better than 'important'. Thank you very much. Have a nice rest of weekend! Best, Yukibaseball12

Hi Ellie Thank you for your reply. I have learnt same new words from your sentence. They are 'secluded' and 'leisurely' . I like them because they make me imagine the scene vividly. Best

Hi, Ellie I read the news that Europe will be hit hard by heat wave this year. People will need siestas fairly soon. You already manage your schedule with sieslas. You would be surprised to see how many Japanese salaried workers doze off on a train early in the morning. We are so tired that we cannot help it. If you can luckily find a seat , it is OK. But if not, you have to stand for almost an hour until your destination. OMG Regards, Hiroko
