Thank you for your feedback. As always, you offered an alternative expression to every sentences, which was very helpful! Unfortunately, after I missed my flight, I payed additional fare to take a later one because my original ticket was not flexible, and I needed to wait for six hours for the departure. Some friends kindly came to the airport to have lunch with me.

It takes about one hour from my father's home to his facility by subway and bus.
Thank you for your feedback. You always give an alternative to each sentence, and this is why I love the way you teach. Your experience on the subway frightened me. I hope nothing terrible happened to the passengers.
Thank you for your feedback and interesting observation on this topic too!

That sounds a tough situation. I think we should listen to and accept other people's opinions calmly even though they are different from ours.
Wow! You and your friends were frightened when the fighter jets were flying over you in the dark sky. I can't imagine how terrifying the sounds were. Japan is a peaceful country surrounded by the oceans. But recently, neighboring countries are trying to do something undesirable. The Japanese Constitution says we will never start war by attacking other countries. We only have the Defense Force and will never have nuclear bombs. As Japanese people remember the sad and miserable result of the World War 2, we are reluctant to reinforce our military power, like increasing the budgets and buying military equipments. Looking at the neighbors are developing nuclear weapons and ICBM-missiles, I'm not sure if it's ok for us to be relaxed. The saying "the writing was on the wall" is exactly I and many Japanese people are worried about. I like the corrections you made, as they make a perfect sense to me. I appreciate your kindness and dedication to teaching English. I will take a break, but see you again when I come back to IDIY. Yoko
