My hobbies are reading, going out with friends, watching movies and traveling. I grew up in Canada and moved to Greece when I was thirty years old. I have also visited the U.S.A many times. I have visited many countries in Europe. Each country has its own unique beauty. I loved Budapest, Thessaloniki and Madrid. Vancouver and Seattle are also my favorites. Now I live in Madrid, Spain.

Hi. I have a great deal of respect for people who take their writing seriously. I will respect your writing and try my best to correct it in a way that will benefit you and help you clarify those issues that you need to work on. I believe that words are very powerful and can change our lives as well as the world around us. Therefore, no matter what your writing goal is, my job is to help you reach it. I look forward to reading your work! Sincerely, Ellie

Thank you for your feedback. You always give an alternative to each sentence, and this is why I love the way you teach. Your experience on the subway frightened me. I hope nothing terrible happened to the passengers.

That sounds a tough situation. I think we should listen to and accept other people's opinions calmly even though they are different from ours.

Wow! You and your friends were frightened when the fighter jets were flying over you in the dark sky. I can't imagine how terrifying the sounds were. Japan is a peaceful country surrounded by the oceans. But recently, neighboring countries are trying to do something undesirable. The Japanese Constitution says we will never start war by attacking other countries. We only have the Defense Force and will never have nuclear bombs. As Japanese people remember the sad and miserable result of the World War 2, we are reluctant to reinforce our military power, like increasing the budgets and buying military equipments. Looking at the neighbors are developing nuclear weapons and ICBM-missiles, I'm not sure if it's ok for us to be relaxed. The saying "the writing was on the wall" is exactly I and many Japanese people are worried about. I like the corrections you made, as they make a perfect sense to me. I appreciate your kindness and dedication to teaching English. I will take a break, but see you again when I come back to IDIY. Yoko

Hello, Ellie_P, How are you? I see you tried not to change the words I used when you corrected my writings, which clearly tells me the mistakes I made. In addition to that, you kindly write me different ways which mean exactly the same as my writing. They are so impressive, and, I learnt many things, like native English nuances. Thank you so much. I didn't know octopuses are very intelligent, but still, I'm willing to eat them even if they are looking at me and begging for a mercy on the plate. They are delicious. Take care and see you next time. Bye for now. Yoko
