Hi Ellie, Thank you for your correction and advice, which are very helpful. The use of articles is indeed very difficult for me, as we don't use articles in Japanese language. Nevertheless, compering with other languages I have studied before, such as German or French, articles in English seems to be less complicated. I'll just keep writing with IDIY till I can use articles naturally! Best Regards, Motoshi

Dear Ellie, Thank you very much for your comments, which were very nice! Yes, as you mentioned, 16 personality test is same as Carl Jung’s and Isabel Briggs Myers’ personality test. This test was translated into various languages, very interesting! It is nice to know we are peaceful diplomat type (INF-). Hope to enjoy today.

I was talking about "3 Rangers." When we went to Expo2005, 3 Rangers were 17 or 18 years old. 12 years had passed since then so they are turning 30 soon. Have a good weekend!

Congee and rice porridge might be almost the same. I think congee is Cantonese style. We call Japanese rice porridge "Okayu." Okayu (Japanese rice porridge) is a comforting dish of rice and water. It is easy to digest, so people in Japan commonly eat it when they have a cold, are recovering from an illness or don't have much of an appetite. It is also a popular baby food and served to the elderly. You may also find it on hotel breakfast buffet tables. Compared to other countries' rice porridge, okayu is much thicker due to the water-to-rice ratio of 1-to-5. (Cantonese-style congee is 1-to-12.) This is a basic recipe to make plain okayu.

"Although I bring up my daughters who was running around while holding the ceremony I was also brought up by them." When we held the ceremony, our daughters were running around. While I looked them, I thought I've been brought up them and I also taught by them as well, as the proverb goes "Teaching is learning." I referred to scarves. If the scouts promote they use same sashes.

Hi Ellie, Thank you for your excellent service again! I've been to Selfridge in London several years ago and I'm interested in the story of the store. I have a membership to Amazon Video, and it seems that some of the series can be seen on it without additional cost. I'll watch them when I have time. Thank you for introducing me the series ! Best Regards, Motoshi

Hi Ellie, Thank you for your clear comments and advices again. You impressed me by googling the football player! The subjects for writing provided by IDIY each day range very widely and interesting, while they are sometimes quite challenging even if I try to write it in Japanese. Best Regards, Motoshi

Thank you for your quick reply and feedback. The expression, "the people in the auditorium" is simple and clear, I can't think of it. By the way, it's about my friend's father. Despite his tipsy, he managed to do it finally. He was not addicted alcohol but a heavy drinker. I guess that he drunk too much welcome cocktails at waiting room. We must know the rhythm of social drinking.

Thank you Ellie for your quick response! All of the alternative sentences you proposed look really sophisticated. I'll write more with IDIY so that I can write similar sentences by myself! Best Regards, Motoshi

Dear Teacher Ellie, Thank you for correcting my writing, which are always helpful. Sorry or my vague expression. I meant I thought the massage plate would be overdoing until I saw how she was pleased. Some people are too shy and don't like to be celebrated in a restaurant in that way. After all, however, she was really pleased, so I felt happy as well. I should have written more carefully. Thank you again. Best, lisbeth

Dear Ellie, Thank you for your quick response and a kind message. This was my second IDIY's assignment but your response came earlier than my first one! I'm also surrounded by people with diverse cultures here in California and learning a lot from them. I totally agree with you saying that respect and tolerance is the key. Best Regards, Motoshi
