However, as I went to around the top of the mountain, the road became a narrow mountain path paved poorly with a lot of stones and no guardrails. One side of the path was a sharp cliff, so I was deeply scared to drive my vehicle. Consequently, there is popularity for people in Japan to cerebrate Christmas with fried chickens and strawberry cakes that are symbolistic items on the day. The Christmas is regarded as a one of the routine events to do, but New Year's holiday is the most important event for Japanese. Parents urge their children living in remote places to come back to their family houses, and children travelled to their parents homes to have family reunion. So, there are huge congestion to be observed at air ports, central stations, and highways everywhere on December 29 and 30. It seems that the New Year's holiday to have a family reunion is much more important than the Christmas in Japan.
