Teacher Ellie_P Thank you for kind words as always. I don't like watching long movies in the cinema either. The seats in the cinema hurt my back if I sit there for a long time. In addition, I get very tired if I concentrate for a long time. So, when I want to watch a long movie, I watch it on Netflix at home. When I watch it online at home, I pause it when I feel tired, and eat or drink something, and then continue watching until the end of the film. Thank you for corrections that are helpful to me. Teacher Ellie_P Thank you for kind words as always. As for the Japanese spirit of harmony at the workplace will fit the idea of workation. It is said that taking paid days off for one's own convenience will cause trouble for their colleagues. Japanese people think it is okay to take vacation while observing the situation of surrounding workers. For example, if the workplace is busy with many tasks, or if ones take time off at the end of the year or during accounting period, they will be regarded as selfish persons who causes bothering to the other employees. In Japan, a peaceful and calm atmosphere is considered one of the essential virtues. To maintain this situation, it is said that residents should have a spirit of harmony both at home and at work. Even if you have a different opinion from others, it is not considered good to express your disagreement clearly. Instead, it is considered good behavior to listen to the opinions of the people around and make inoffensive comments to maintain a peaceful atmosphere. This circumstance is the reason why the Japanese spirit of harmony at the workplace will fit the idea of workation. By the way, before such as two decades ago, it was common for workers to work very hard until late at night like 1 o'clock AM. As a result, the number of workers, who suffered from stroke, heart attacks and fatal conditions, has increased. Therefore, the Japanese government started to penalize the companies which exploit their employees. Thanks to the governmental instruction, currently, working environment has been improved greatly than before. The number of workers working until 1 o'clock am has plummeted nowadays. Teacher Ellie_P Thank you for kind words as always. I agree that I should have learned from my mistakes sooner ideally. Teacher Ellie_P Thank you for kind words as always. I understand that I should have written "the opportunity when I am talking about one". By the way, I visited Asian countries such as Malaysia, Philippines, and South Korea when I was a university student. At that time, there was a international friendship program with studying in Asian countries supported by ministry of foreign affairs in Japan. While applying the program, I had ten times to visit those countries as short-term visit for studying, thanks to governmental subsidies. Since most students were interested in western countries for studying, the Japanese government seemed to increase Japanese students who would have friendship with Asian university students for the future. Since this course were manufactured with foreign university of Asian countries, I used to stay student dormitory of those universities, resulting more chances communicating with local students. The opportunity gave me motivation to acquire conversation skill in English and I realized to be a fluent speaker in English nowadays. My experiences as a student have made me know the importance of internationalization and the necessity of learning English. Japanese high schools and universities should encourage more short-term study abroad programs of one month during the summer vacation. Thank you for corrections that are useful to me. Teacher Ellie_P Thank you for kind words as always. Linguistically, Japanese language is known to the language which does not have subjects and objects frequently in sentences. In particular, such tendency is obvious in daily conversation. Since our culture instill residents in having the importance of peaceful atmosphere in daily life. As a result, people avoid to mention "who does" and "whom is done", so that they elevate calm and uneasy circumstances. Although such condition can help people collaborate in farming and fishing, which were main professions in Japan before, modern society of Japan already don't match to the traditional customs. As businesses globalize, our society also should transform by developing Japanese language with clarifying subjects and objects. Thank you for corrections that are helpful to me. Teacher Ellie_P Thank you for kind words as always. I understand that I should not write 'will' after 'if'. When I use 'will', I should use it before 'if'. By the way, since Japanese prefer eating seafood very much, there are already several zones around Japan to proceed aquaculture. Although the industry can increase the amount of seafood, local fishermen are frequently annoyed by the dirty seawater neighboring the areas. Therefore, local governments start intervening in preventing the deterioration of seawater quality. Thank you for corrections that are helpful to me. Best regards, 5971mak

Teacher Ellie_P Thank you for kind words as always. Yes, the tolls of expressways are expensive. As for tolls of roads, there a variety of cases such as expressways, toll highways, and toll fee on some bridges. In generall, the tolls of expressways impose relatively expensive cost. Take for example, when you drive from Tokyo to Osaka on expressway, you pay around $90. When you drive Hokkaido( northern part of Japan) to Kyusyu( southern part), authorities impose you to pay around $300. Although you can save time by driving on the expressways, the cost is still high. So people usually use bullet train if they travel alone such a long distance. On the other hand, when a family consisting of parents and two children, the toll is divided by four, resulting in not expensive. By the way, local governments frequently build toll highways and rebuild bridges for convenience of local residents. Since such roads and bridges are short distances, the fee is usually $1 or 2 to compensate for these construction costs. Roads are essential for people's lives nowadays, so local governments shoud maintain the condition of roads and do eco-friendly to protect nature. Thank you for corrections that are useful to me.
