Hi there! I'm Sara Rose from New York, specializing in helping learners with practical, real-life English, as well as all kinds of exam/test materials (Eiken, TOEIC/TOEFL, IELTS, etc.), cultural topics and current issues. I especially enjoy reading and explaining topics on travel, the U.S./UK, culture, news, music, art, fashion, and all things New York. You're welcome to send in your writing today on virtually any subject and I would gladly check and correct it for you! My proofreading focuses on natural-sounding English by using the most common, latest, or trending words/phrases/expressions, with some difficult/confusing grammar fully explained. If you are an administrative office person, a customer service rep, or a first-time international online shopper, I am here to help you write clear, courteous business email in English, especially for apparel and other general purchases. Looking forward to showing you how fun and rewarding it is to be able to communicate clearly in this universal language. Let's get started!

Teacher SaraRoseNY Thank you for corrections that are helpful to me. I agree with selfish behaviors of Princess Martha Louise of Norway, that used the imperial tradition for her private business. Apart from the right to marry, it is not justified for her to earn money by using the honor of royal family. It makes sense that many commoners get angry while knowing her audacious decisions. She should have shown demure attitudes to pacify people's dissatisfaction. Best regards, 5971mak

Teacher SaraRoseNY Thank you for corrections that are helpful to me. Yes, I agree that high-profile executives and celebrities also should choose eco-friendly transportation. When natural disasters occur, governments have to make a budget for emergency aid and rescue activities. This cost should be shouldered by heavy users of fossil fuel. Carbon tax should be implemented to reduce those who emit greenhouse gases like private jet users. Best regards, 5971mak

Teacher SaraRoseNY Thank you for corrections that are helpful to me. I agree that typhoons has become stronger than before year after year. The intensity of them are obviously elevating as global warming deteriorates. I am afraid of more damages occurring in wider refions in Japan. Best regards, 5971mak

Hello, SaraRoseNY, How are you? I love the corrections you give me on my submission. This time I learned many new words and expressions from you, thank you. The last two sentences I sent you seem like they didn't make sense to you. ・Preserving discipline is a must for anybody. The ability to maintain discipline is essential for athletes, as it's the foundation of their success. ・ She was an Olympian who represents many Japanese athletes thereby I would say she deserved to receive heavier punishment. As an Olympian representing many Japanese athletes, it's reasonable to argue that she deserved a more severe punishment. I like the idea that you wrote to correct my paragraph. Just what I meant to say was that discipline is essential for people including Olympic athletes, and as she is an Olympian she must have deserved such punishments that were heavier than usual people would receive in this situation. Take care, and see you next time. Yoko

Teacher SaraRoseNY Thank you for corrections that are helpful to me. I am impressed with the last sentence you added. As depopulation has become a common serious issue, many municipal governments have troubles to maintain their communities. While having a lot of elderly residents, they lose a lot of young people who move to urban areas with blush offices in sleek and cool buildings. Although we don't have effective solution yet, more should be done to help the elderly and the young in rural areas. Best regards, 5971mak

Teacher SaraRoseNY Thank you for corrections that are helpful to me. I agree that dangers of food additives in lunch packs of convenience stores. Since food preservatives and emulsifiers contain a variety of chemicals, it is difficult for consumers to understand long-term effects of the chemicals. Although short and limited consumption of the food additives, it is said that the chemicals are safe. Consumers should be wise enough to practice home cooking in daily life and utilize convenience store products in some busy time. As far as people consume lunch packs intermittently, convenience store food is useful for consumers. Home cooking is the best option, but it is not always practical in busy days. Best regards, 5971mak
