Hi there! I'm Sara Rose from New York, specializing in helping learners with practical, real-life English, as well as all kinds of exam/test materials (Eiken, TOEIC/TOEFL, IELTS, etc.), cultural topics and current issues. I especially enjoy reading and explaining topics on travel, the U.S./UK, culture, news, history, music, art, fashion, and all things New York. You're welcome to send in your writing today on virtually any subject and I would gladly check and correct it for you! My proofreading focuses on natural-sounding English by using the most common, latest, or trending words/phrases/expressions, with some difficult/confusing grammar fully explained. If you are an administrative office person, a customer service rep, or a first-time international online shopper, I am here to help you write clear, courteous business email in English, especially for apparel and other general purchases. Looking forward to showing you how fun and rewarding it is to be able to communicate clearly in this universal language. Let's get started!

Teacher SaraRoseNY Thank you for corrections that are helpful to me. Yes, everbody can raise their performance and skills thanks to support from surounding people. Even those who are greatly talented should have a mindset of modest, and it is essential for them to have appreciation to team mates and staff. Mr. Otani have repeatedly shown gratitude to his team mates and staff. Contararily, Mr. Mizuhara's behavior was rude and arrogant, so it is rationale for the court to convict harsh sentence in addition to the prosecutor's recommendation. No one can live and grow by oneself, so everyone should keep it in mind to have a mindset of thankfullness to friends, family, co-workers, and those who support him/her. Best regards, 5971mak

Teacher SaraRoseNY Thank you for corrections that are helpful to me. Yes, a lot of talented students prefer going to Tokyo to enter prestigious universities for their future. Still, corporate headquarters mostly located in the capital, so the young can have more possibility to finding lucrative jobs. Capitalism must conglomerate big companies to raise more profits while implementing collaboration among those companies. Such economic natural force should be regulated by the governmental instruction in case of Tokyo megalopolice. Best regards, 5971mak

Thank you for your feedback. It is hard for a non-native speaker that I am to tell whether certain expressions are casual or formal. This is why your explanations were very helpful.

Teacher SaraRoseNY Thank you for corrections that are helpfuln to me. Currently, many parents are not enthusiastic to teach their children the importance of household chores. Instead, they urge the children to raise academic scores for their future. Although academic achievements can be important, daily skills to handle house tasks is essential as well. When they have family time, parents should show how to cook instead of lying down on a sofa or playing video games. As time flies, parents should show how to do daily house works so that children can become more independent later in life. To be active and productive as they become adults, I think that ability to do house chores will be necessary while working well. As far as they are proficient to do house tasks, they can manage by themselves regardless the places where they are transferred to unfamiliar places. Best regards, 5971mak

Teacher SaraRoseNY Thank you for corrections that are helpful to me. According to centenarian studies in Japan, over 65% of people consumed dairy products, including yogurt, "almost every day," and about half consumed eggs. A similar distribution was seen for tofu and seaweed, with both showing that they were eaten at least once a week. About 90% of both men and women ate vegetables "almost every day," showing that they were the foods most actively consumed, along with rice. As this result shows, I believe that healthy diet is essential for longivity in Japan. The only drawback is the high salt intake. The average Japanese person consumes 12g of salt per day. This is twice the recommended amount, and it is said that Japanese people have high blood pressure due to excessive salt intake. Best regards, 5971mak
