Hi there! I'm Sara Rose from New York, specializing in helping learners with practical, real-life English, as well as all kinds of exam/test materials (Eiken, TOEIC/TOEFL, IELTS, etc.), cultural topics and current issues. I especially enjoy reading and explaining topics on travel, the U.S./UK, culture, news, history, music, art, fashion, and all things New York. You're welcome to send in your writing today on virtually any subject and I would gladly check and correct it for you! My proofreading focuses on natural-sounding English by using the most common, latest, or trending words/phrases/expressions, with some difficult/confusing grammar fully explained. If you are an administrative office person, a customer service rep, or a first-time international online shopper, I am here to help you write clear, courteous business email in English, especially for apparel and other general purchases. Looking forward to showing you how fun and rewarding it is to be able to communicate clearly in this universal language. Let's get started!

Teacher SaraRoseNY Thank you for corrections that are helpful to me. I agree with your suspect which explains the reason for a short life of air conditioners. Considering the expensive price of the electric appliances, I also hope that manufactures extend the AC life of at least two decades. Best regards, 5971mak

Dear SaraRoseNY, Thank you always for your kind assist. I learned some useful words like "fabricated" "weary" and realized I had misread "complaints" as "complains". I deeply understand your thoughts on the importance of having clear corporate ethics. I believe that corporate ethics are something that have been built up along with each company's history, so I looked into the world's oldest company and found that it was Kongo Gumi, a Japanese company founded in 578. Thank you again. Have a nice weekend! Best regards, MaiT

Teacher SaraRoseNY Thank you for corrections that are helpful to me. I think that foreign cuisines can become the beginning of globalization in Japan. Although collective harmony is common, palatable dishes can intrude our daily life and expand in our society if the taste is wonderful. For example, not only Tom Yum soup but also Korean pickles, Italian pizzas, and Spanish paella are in Japan nowadays. While having such foreign dishes, people can become familiar with foreign cultures. Best regards, 5971mak

Dear SaraRoseNY, Thank you always for continued support. I had a summer vacation called "obon" in Japan. As most of us agreed, both blue and green colors represent the innate human need for nature, however I wonder in the future, if human born on the Moon or even Mars, what color could mean nature for them. Have a nice day! Best regards, MaiT

Teacher SaraRoseNY Thank you for corrections that are helpful to me. In my view, a lack of literacy skill has become a serious social issue as the reclusive become common in Japan nowadays. Many of them are said to have a problem to learn subjects despite of high school graduation. As smartphone has greatly increased, the young relying on their digital tools too much. As a result, they may lose acquiring essential capabities like communication, literacy, arithmetics, and a lack of resilience. In order to improve current situation of the young, schools should mandate Japanese proficiency test to students so that they can be aware of a lack of literacy in Japanese. As for "scalping", such behavior is now rampant to earn money from innocent individuals. The Japanese government should make a law to protect citizens from the predator. If users accessed online shopping sites like mercari, the company could require the users to upload their ID card such as driver licenses. This decision can expel the greedy scalpers to make the websites peaceful for innocent customers. The internet is very convenient and enjoyable, but anonymity is still a source of troubles and crimes. More regulations should be implemented to secure safety among users. Best regards, 5971mak
