Announcements
I am happy to take orders any day of the week. I will always try to advise you as efficiently and as promptly as possible. When I am available I am quite often able to start on your work straight away.
Hobbies/Travel
Travel is my passion! I love travelling, other cultures and languages. I have been to many European countries, North America, Africa, the middle east, Singapore and Thailand. I also enjoy art, cinema and the theatre. I keep fit by swimming and walking/hiking. I have walked the Camino of Santiago de Compostella in Northern Spain. I would dearly love to visit Japan one day!
Message from the instructor
I am thorough and pay attention to detail. I like to suggest different ways of phrasing sentences in English. I aim to pass on as much knowedge about English as is possible through text correction. I like to be helpful, positive and encouraging.

Thank you for your review! It's good to know that I should use "fee for daycare" instead of "tuition fee for daycare".

Dear Julia Vivian, Thank you very much for your correction! Although I was not satisfied with the amount and the price (700 JPY/ 5 GBP for two people) of the meal kit, the taste was much better than mine. You can see how the company makes a daily effort from the taste. Again, I really appreciate your help as always. Best regards, Ayako Nara

Dear Julia Vivian, Thank you very much for your correction! I really don't like health check because I'm super ticklish; every time I get this type of notification, I feel very blue. The stress of thinking health check would make me sick. I really appreciate your help as always. Best regards, Ayako Nara

Thanks Julia for correcting my sentence. I practice more! By the way “Ohanami” means Sakura viewing while doing picnic, it’s one of the Japanese culture. Maybe you can find about it on the net

Dear Ms. Julia Vivian, Thank you so much for making a correction of my essay. As you said, the people in Okinawa had longer life expectancy than the other Japanese regions. It is said that the traditional Okinawa cuisine is good for healthy lives. However, the life expectancy of Okinawa have been sharply dropping nowadays. The reason is considered that American diet becomes more and more popular there. A lot of American army bases are located there, so Okinawa has been heavily influenced by American culture. Of course, I love American food, such as McDonald's or KFC. However I must be careful about what food I eat! Best wishes, Mitsuhiro Haga

Dear Ms. Julia Vivian Thank you so much for correcting my essays everyday. The Japanese calender is a little tricky because it has two different year-counting systems. We often confuse what year it is now. Actually, considerable money and effort have been spent on changing the name of era. However, we have a strong affection for it. I think this feeling comes from our respect for Japanese emperor. The current emperor, who is going to abdicate on 30th April, have worked so hard to encourage or console all the Japanese people. I hope you had a wonderful weekend. I am looking forward to learning from you again. Best wishes Mitsuhiro Haga
