Hi Julia How’s your weekend? Thanks as always. Here is rainy season. The high humidity makes it feel hotter than it is. I can see hydrangeas are blooming everywhere. See you.

Dear Ms. Julia Vivian, Thank you so much for revising my manuscript and giving me some comments which always encourage me to keep my effort. I am happy hearing your plan for coming to Japan. I saw a news reporing that Japan was ranked at the top in a world tourism ranking the other day. I was so surprised because Japan had been notrious among foreign tourists for its high prices, ill-preserved historical buildings, foreigner-unfriendly environment, and so on. There used to be a concensus that Japan had little value as a destination for an overseas trip. However, things have changed since around 2000. One of the key events is FIFA World Cup 2002, which Japan hosted with South Korea. Both the government and private sectors vigorously prepared for accepting a large number of supporters from around the world (we were very afraid of hooligans too!). The facilites and services for tourists have substantially improved since then. I can't believe my eyes when I sometimes see a lot of tourists walking in the streets in Tokyo. The coronavirus resricions have gradually been lifted these days. I hope you will come to Japan in the near future! Best wishes,

Dear Ms. Julia Vivian, Thank you so much for revising my essay. The plutinum jubilee was also reported in some medias in Japan. I was so surprised that the celebration continued three days long! Although I only caught a glimse of the event, I was overwhelmed the fervor of the people gathered around the palace. I was also astonished at so many pop icons, from Elton John to Paddington Bear, taking parts in the celebration. I reminded once again how much the Queen is respected by all classes of British people. She has gone through so many difficulties both in national affairs and in family issues. Despite the hardships, she has stood still as a monarch for 70 years, which can never achieve without her incomparable devotion to the nation. We all have a concern about her health, but we do hope for her longevity and happiness. Best wishes,
