Hobbies/Travel
Travel is my passion! I love travelling, other cultures and languages. I have been to many European countries, North America, Africa, the middle east, Singapore and Thailand. I also enjoy art, cinema and the theatre. I keep fit by swimming and walking/hiking. I have walked the Camino of Santiago de Compostella in Northern Spain. I would dearly love to visit Japan one day!
Message from the instructor
I am thorough and pay attention to detail. I like to suggest different ways of phrasing sentences in English. I aim to pass on as much knowedge about English as is possible through text correction. I like to be helpful, positive and encouraging.

Dear Julian Vivian, How are you? It's great to hear from you again. Thank you for the corrections you made on my submission as always. I know why you have changed them. This time, I found an interesting thing from your corrections. Honestly speaking, in this essay I wrote some phrases which were directly from the official page of WHO, and you altered some words of them. Your alternations make me understand that language is tricky. the writer of WHO knew they don't always need to write grammatically correct sentences, because their writings have to be natural and understandable for native English speakers. On the other hand, IDIY is for English learners who need to learn correct English. Year 2024 is just around the corner. I hope you will have a wonderful new year. Bye until we see again. Yoko
