I am happy to take orders any day of the week. I will always try to advise you as efficiently and as promptly as possible. When I am available I am quite often able to start on your work straight away.
Hobbies/Travel
Travel is my passion! I love travelling, other cultures and languages. I have been to many European countries, North America, Africa, the middle east, Singapore and Thailand. I also enjoy art, cinema and the theatre. I keep fit by swimming and walking/hiking. I have walked the Camino of Santiago de Compostella in Northern Spain. I would dearly love to visit Japan one day!
Message from the instructor
I am thorough and pay attention to detail. I like to suggest different ways of phrasing sentences in English. I aim to pass on as much knowedge about English as is possible through text correction. I like to be helpful, positive and encouraging.

Dear Ms. Julia Vivian, Welcome back! It's really enjoyable for me to take your lessons again. A strong typhoon hit Tokyo metropolitan area last week. Fortunately, my family and I are safe and sound. However, the typhoon killed and injured a lot of people, and we haven't recovered from the damage of it yet. The typhoon was the strongest one that we've ever experienced. We feel fear of the consequences from global warming. I hope you and your family are doing well. I hope I can learn from you a lot. Best wishes Mitsuhiro Haga

I'm glad that I could know some detailed knowledge about the prepositions and the spelling. I wondered why you changed 'sits in a chair' into 'sits on a chair', so I searched the Internet and guess it was due to the shape of the chair. It's a good thing that I knew the difference because I had used 'sit in' and 'sit on' indiscriminatingly. As I can't think of a lot of other expressions, the alternative sentences are very helpful to me. I appreciate your continued support. Best Regards

Dear Julia Vivian, Thank you for correcting my English essay almost always. I am so grateful to you. The other day, I have an opportunity to attend a conference with native English speakers. I tried my best to communicate with them in English. Although was far from satisfactory, I wasn't able to express fully what I wanted to say, I felt my improvement in English communication skill. This is all thanks to you. I hope you have a good holiday. I'm looking forward to taking your lessons soon. Best wishes

Dear Julia Vivian, Thank you very much for your correction. Your explanation is clear, and the alternatives you showed are very helpful to me. Even if I can sometimes write English grammatically correct, it is still very difficult to make it sound natural. Thank you. Matilda7

Dear Julia Vivian, Thank you for correcting my email. I am ashamed that I mistook the usage of "sincerely" and "faithfully". Although you taught me the difference between them, it slipped my mind. I will take care not to make the same mistake again. I hope you have a good start of the week. Best wishes,
