Message from instructor
Experienced English teacher from the US, living in Japan.
Hobbies / favorite countries / countries visited
My favorite hobbies are music, weightlifting, and continuing to improve my Japanese language skills. Lately, learning and understanding the meaning of lyrics to Japanese songs I like has become a fun project.
Approach to corrections
I try to preserve a customer's original words and writing style as much as possible unless "drastic change," "formal," "casual," etc. is requested. I also try to be as intuitive as possible so that my corrections don't result in failing to get the point across that they're trying to make.

Hello, Tom, How are you doing? I'm happy having you as my English teacher here. Thank you for the amendments you made on my essay. I'm also happy to read your nice comments. Your corrections all make perfect sense to me, and I enjoyed reading the phrases and wordings you wrote as they were very interesting to me. You gave me detailed explanations for each correction. You described how you reacted to the sentences I wrote, that's realistic and a fun to read. You introduced your imaginary future views of the time when humans and robots live together. That's impressive but actually a bit scary. If humans can't switch robots off, It's would be as terrible as beyond my imagination. I hope to see you soon again.
 Take care! Kind regards, Yoko

Dear Tom, Thank you for your corrections and explanations. About the second sentence, your explanation was really helpful. It was more than once. It had been 3 or 4 days ( 9 to 12 times ) My daughter was in a good mood today and finally stopped playing while eating. I hope you have a lovely day. Best wishes, Mana0423,

Thank you, as always. Your explanation helped me better understand the use of "with" and "under", and "relaxing" and "relaxation".

Dear Tom-san Thank you for your review. That was easy for me to understand as usual. I have been to Colosseum in Rome, and as you said, I can’t understand why Dimitorov has such a ridiculous idea… Anyway, I feel that it is important to raise awareness about the value of historical heritage sites. I’m looking forward to working with you soon. Best Regards, Tucker

Dear Tom, I'm sorry for being late because I had stayed in Tokyo for business last week. Thank you for your help. I didn't know that there is a difference between "talk" and "talks" in meaning. It's good to hear that you live in Japan and you've got goldfish at a festival. I used to have goldfish as pets when I was a child. I look forward to working with you soon. Best regards, m-yoshiro

Thank you as always. The use of the definite and indefinite articles is very difficult for us, Japanese learners.
