Experienced English teacher from the US, living in Japan
Hobbies/Travel
My favorite hobbies are music, weightlifting, and studying Japanese. My favorite country is Japan, where I live, although I'm from the USA and have family and many friends there. My most interesting visit to another country (besides Japan) was to South Korea in 2011. The highlight of that vacation was visiting the DMZ border of North Korea, which was a very intense experience.
Message from the instructor
My text correction style is somewhat minimalistic, unless a "drastic change" or "formal," etc. is requested, as I do my best to preserve customers' words and ideas, and although I'm strict about grammar and punctuation, I also try to be as intuitive as possible so that my corrections don't result in failing to get the point across that they're trying to make.

Dear Tom, Good morning too. I'm glad that my entry was almost perfect! As you said, I'm also looking forward to fall because I don't like using the air conditioner. If you keep checking for the tree, you fill find the situation I described even if in winter! Thank you for helping me, and I hope you have a great day. Best regards, m-yoshiro

Dear Tom, Hello again. I appreciate your help. It's difficult to use the words "more" and "better" correctly, so I want to learn more about it. (plus comma splice) I guess the logic behind my two-step program is to cover teeth with substances from teeth-paste after blushing. I hope you also have a great day! Best regards, m-yoshiro

Dear Tom, Hello, Tom! Thank you for checking my entry. I went to the restaurant again with the woman yesterday, and we didn't have any messes as you said because I had told it before. I really enjoyed the lunch. I look forward to working with you again soon. Best regards, m-yoshiro

Dear Tom, Thank you again for working for my entry. That night was really fun so I drunk too much. I've never been to Chiba, so I'm a little surprised that there are few foreigners there regardless of next to Tokyo. I wish I could describe what comma splice is as you said next time. I hope you have a good weekend. Best regards, m-yoshiro

Dear Tom-san Thank you for your detail explanation as usual. It was very informative for me, especially the explanation about the usage of comma. Honestly, it is difficult for non-native speakers like me to find it by ourselves, so it was very helpful. I will enjoy the race to achieving 1000 compositions with you! Anyway, I always appreciate your supports. I’m looking forward to working with you soon. Best Regards, Tucker

Dear Tom, Hello again. Yeah, it was very fun dinner. Thank you for giving me a lot of explanations and they were helpful for me. I know "SmallTalk" as a computer language because I'm a software engineer, but I can't use it. I hope you have a great rest of the day. Best regards, m-yoshiro
