Announcements
Hello, my name is Tama, I'm from England and I am pleased to meet you. I love teaching because I am always learning from my students...every day I learn more and more about Japan! My other passion is travel, I love to explore new places, see new things, meet new people and try new food. I haven't made it to Japan yet, but I hope to soon. :-) As well as English I also speak Spanish and Haitian Creole fluently, and I have been teaching language skills to all levels of students since 2006. I can't wait to meet you!
Hobbies/Travel
I love to travel, to meet new people, learn about new cultures, try new foods. I spend my time between the Dominican Republic - I love the warmth of sun, and the beautiful beaches, and England - I love the beautiful green countryside and the history you can find in nearly every town and city.
Message from the instructor
Clear communication is the reason we learn other languages. So I aim to give you clear easy to understand reasons for my corrections. I will help you to express your ideas in the clearest and most natural way. Your writing expresses your own personal style, so I'll try to correct your text to suit your writing style. I look forward to working with you.

Dear Tama Thank you for remaking my sentences with a natural flow. Thanks for giving me a new word "restore" instead of "allow", my English sentences acquired a drastic change. I hope I will learn new vocabulary and phrases again. Sincerely, Bearmatsu

Dear Tama, Thank you for your check and comment. They are helpful for me to improve my English writing. Next time, I will take care of "tense" when I write an essay. I hope for sending you next time. Best regards, Tomo-Hiro

Thanks for correcting. I checked the word IGO. Japanese “IGO” is known as “GO” in the world.

Dear Tama, Thank you for kindly telling me the usage of ‘contingent ’and other stuff. I had misunderstood them. I hope we can minimise the possibility of sad accidents happening in sports scenes as much as possible by the ideas from many people’s voices. Hope you are having a lovely weekend, Midori

Dear Tama, Thank you for checking my writing carefully. I like the way of your proofreading. I do keep the difference between ‘anyhow’ and ‘somehow’in mind. Thank you very much for letting me know lots of things as always. Stay happy, Midori

Dear Tama, Thank you for the appropriate corrections and your comments. I didn't mind the sentence break at all. Rather, my misspellings in my writing are much more conspicuous! As an excuse, I was in a hurry when I sent it to you...I should doublecheck my writings more. I heard the vaccine rollout in the UK is going pretty well unlike Japan. So I hope you are doing well. Stay healthy, Midori

Dear Tama, Thank you for your amendments. They are really helpful for me. The last sentence would sound better if I use ‘understand that vaccination is a personal choice.’ I really appreciate it. I hope you’ll read my next essay soon. Thank you again. Best regards, guava56479
