Hobbies/Travel
I have been very fortunate to have travelled to many different countries during my time as teacher. Some of my favourite moments are snorkelling with a whale shark in the Indian ocean, seeing a pride of lions in the early morning mist in Hwange game park in Zimbabwe and walking in the foothills of the Himalayas. I have now returned to my home country, Wales, and love the mountains and beaches. I am getting used to the UK weather again but rain, sun, wind and changing temperatures all in one day can be quite difficult! My twin sons live and work in London , so I try to see them as often as possible.
Message from the instructor

Thank you so much for your corrections and explanations! According to the 2nd sentence, I learned the difference between "in a book" and "on a page." I will use them correctly in my future diary entries. Additionally, I learned how to use the expression "such as." Best regards.

Dear Ms. Jenla, Sorry I didn't have a chance to say thank you. Thank you for teaching me the difference between the present perfect and the simple past. Also, I didn't know the difference between 'check on' and 'check'. I really appreciate your clear explanation and helpful advice. Kind regards,
