Hi there! I'm Sara Rose from New York, specializing in helping learners with practical, real-life English, as well as all kinds of exam/test materials (Eiken, TOEIC/TOEFL, IELTS, etc.), cultural topics and current issues. I especially enjoy reading and explaining topics on travel, the U.S./UK, culture, news, history, music, art, fashion, and all things New York. You're welcome to send in your writing today on virtually any subject and I would gladly check and correct it for you! My proofreading focuses on natural-sounding English by using the most common, latest, or trending words/phrases/expressions, with some difficult/confusing grammar fully explained. If you are an administrative office person, a customer service rep, or a first-time international online shopper, I am here to help you write clear, courteous business email in English, especially for apparel and other general purchases. Looking forward to showing you how fun and rewarding it is to be able to communicate clearly in this universal language. Let's get started!

Hello SaraRoseNY, Very nice! I like your English writing. You read between the lines and make it into a beautiful sentence, thank you. You used a funny English word, 'per se'. It doesn't look like an English word, it's peculiar English word. I found the meaning of it, that is , "used to say that something is being considered alone, apart from anything else" I want to use it in my essay. See you the next time, Yoko

Teacher SaraRoseNY Thank you for corrections that are helpful to me. I agree with your anticipation; low-income families for public schools and high-income families for private counterparts. When high school tuition becomes free, wealthy families can invest more extra clam schools and even private tutors that will widen a gap of academic performance between public and private schools. Even so, free high school tuition policy can still expand higher education for all students. So, in general, the policy is reasonable and profitable for society. The problem of this policy is that talented students in public institutions have difficulty acquiring chances entering prestigious universities due to a lack of educational spending for their university schooling. Thus, affirmative action such as well-organized scholarships should be implemented to reduce negative collateral influence of the free tuition policy. Although the number of the talented may be small, they should be endowed with chances to enter privileged schools supported by enough amounts of subsidies. Education is a critical investment for the future, so the government should increase more budgets for education. Best regards, 5971mak

Teacher SaraRoseNY Thank you for corrections that are helpful to me. Yes, there is obvious a lack of mutual understanding between the elderly and the young. Since our family structure became a nuclear family that consists of parents and children, many young people are now not familiar with their grandparents daily life with weakening physical strength. As a result, when their grandparents exacerbate and are forced to move ther children's house, many of the young may confuse how to look after their elderly family. Through the world event as a volunteer, I think that the unfair situation to elderly should be changed to provide a good opportunity for understand each other. Since it is a big event and attract many people including elderly people and foreign visitors, the organizer and Osaka City government should place the event for education to young generation. Teacher SaraRoseNY Thank you for corrections that are helpful to me. I am very happy to hear that wasyoku was resistered as one of UNESCO's intangible cultural assets. Through popurality of the Japanese cuisine, more people are interested in our food. Our culinary dishes have different aspect of deliciousness such as raw fish, deep fried dishes, noodles, and a lot of vegitables. Although many young people prefer eating western dishes, many foreigners are interested our Japanese food. Through food cultures, we may understand more in detail mutually. Best regards, 5971mak

Teacher SaraRoseNY Thank you for corrections that are helpful to me. In Japan, as Japanese demographic is aging, more adults have responsibility for both child rearing and care giving for their elderly parents. Thus, more people become elderly, more individuals have less their private time and hurry-up when they go out unintentionally. As a result of a lack of spare time, some may run on moving escalators to save time. On the other hand, more elderly become fragile and may fall down on moving steps bumped by small contact of a person who are in a hurry. It is urgent for the Japanese government to take action for public safety regarding fragile elderly. Best regards, 5971mak
