Hi Geoff, Thank you for your explanations. I've been enjoying learning British English though it is still difficult for me to understand the proper ways of using the right words. I'll continue to practise as long as possible. In addition, thank you for your kind explanation of my question about how to use gerunds and to-infinitives. Kind regards, Takeshi

Hi Geoff, Thank for your decent correction of my writing! Last minutes, I submitted another new writing for my test. But I'm sorry it was messy... ( I didn't use my dictionary at all ...) And moreover, this was the first time to try.... So I forgot to put even "not" in 2 places, and the meaning got opposite...sorry... I wanted to say: Doctors could NOT be able to judge we had better NOT tamper with it Just avoid to make you confused.... I tell you it here...so sorry... ( I'll pay more attention later...) Yukiko

Hi Geoff, How are you doing? I'm good, it is hot and humid though. Thank you always for checking my writing even if the context is outdated. I was especially impressed by your introduction " herald", which was heralded as a new vocabulary today. ( Is it correct ? haha ). What's more, I've personally learned the differences between "hinder ( =get in the way of )" and "prevent" just after I read your message! I feel happy to step up my English skills thanks to you. Thank you. See you soon! Yukiko

Hi Geoff, Thank you for your kind explanation. Your advice means a lot to me. I appreciate it. Mr Abe is the former prime minister of Japan. That is really unacceptable and sad tragedy. I appreciate your concern. Kind regards, Takeshi

Hi Geoff, I feel happy you remember me well. Today, I've learned a lot from you. As I'm not in readiness for my exam this autumn, I should put my effort into practicing English more. At the same time, I would like to enlarge my vocabulary and expressions taking about social issues related to our life in IDIY. ( I just quickly tried using something new to me today.... : ) ) Thank you all for your support! Have a nice weekend ! Yukiko

Hi Geoff, Thank you for your kind explanation. Your advice means a lot to me. I hope I'm getting used to the way of using prepositions appropriately! I'm not sure what is the best for the British people and the UK, but I hope the British people give careful consideration to that matter before coming to a decision. Personally, I prefer unity to independence. Sincerely, Takeshi

Thank you for correcting my English with clear explanations. I learned to add a comma after introductory clauses especially when it refers to 'time" Also, it is nice to use "free" instead of "does not cost". Thank you!
