Announcements
As a Canadian, I am actually very familiar with both American English and British English. Canadian English is a mix of American and British English. My students from Japan and other countries tell me that I am great at explaining English grammar and vocabulary with patience and kindness.
Hobbies/Travel
I love reading, and I lived and taught English in Japan for thirteen years (until the spring of 2022). I loved Japan's friendly people, the food, the culture and history, and also the literature. Oh yes and I loved the izakaya life!

Hi TeacherShawn, Thank you again for working for my entry. That day, I ate spicy curry unintentionally because I couldn't ignore when I saw my favorite curry restaurant was open :) Anyway, I learned a lot from your explanations again. I hope you have a good rest of the weekend. Best regards, M-yoshiro

Dear TeacherShawn, Hi again, thanks for your concern for me. I'm pretty good now without having some cough. It's interesting you are a ramen lover! I recommend you to get frozen ramen from Japan online. Recent those products have high quality and are authentic. Also, thank for working for my entry. I learned a lot again from your corrections. I want to say "I'm dying to eat ramen" for daily use. I hope you have a great weekend. Best regards, M-yoshiro

Thank you very much for your correction. It's really hard to understand the nuances of words like ‘examine’, especially. I will keep my efforts!

Hi, Teacher Shawn, Thank you for your useful advice. I find myself when writing formally. In my guess, the reason is that I usually practice business documents. I will practice more. Thank you!
