Announcements
As a Canadian, I am actually very familiar with both American English and British English. Canadian English is a mix of American and British English. My students from Japan and other countries tell me that I am great at explaining English grammar and vocabulary with patience and kindness.
Hobbies/Travel
I love reading, and I lived and taught English in Japan for thirteen years (until the spring of 2022). I loved Japan's friendly people, the food, the culture and history, and also the literature. Oh yes and I loved the izakaya life!

Mr.Shawn Thank you for your understanding!! This task was quiet difficult. Every single word of your comments helps me understand how to write in English.

Hi TeacherShawn, Thank you for working for my entry. The hot dog was really good, but I won't go that shop because I don't like waiting in line. I want to use "a" and "the" in the right way, but I need practice more. Anyway, I hope you have a great rest of a week. Best regards, m-yoshiro

Hi TeacherShawn, It's great to know you got your 4th shot! Did you had a fiver? I had a high fever after my shot. Thank you for working for my entry. I learned a lot about "even" again, and I'm interested in the explanation related to "clinic" and "doctor". I guess it is more important to have a primary doctor in English regions than Japan. I hope you have a great day. Best regards, m-yoshiro

Thank you so much for correcting my writing and presenting alternative expressions. I learned a lot today. It was nice to know that the phrase 'I dare to say' is extremely old fashioned because I do not have the way of knowing it except for being suggested by a native speaker. Thank you!

Hi TeacherShawn, Thank you again for working for my entry. I recommend "samahan" to you. You can find it easily by googling the words "samahan tea". I often make a mistake to use "which" and "that" with comma or not. So your explanation is very helpful for me. Best regards, m-yoshiro

Hi TeacherShawn, I forgot to mention rice in my entry. I can't cook stir-fried rice without rice! Thank you for working for my entry. I found it difficult to describe a receipt in English. Anyway, I'm looking forward to working with you soon. Best wishes, m-yoshiro
