Dear Teacher HelpfulBrit san Thank you for your corrections, which show me useful alternative expressions, which are , I think, natively featured. For example, "be enough to ensure a decent standard of living?" "be enough to achieve a decent standard of living?" "be enough to lead a relatively comfortable life." "can lead a decent life on minimum wage" " can achieve a decent standard of living receiving the minimum wage " = I see. "A decent life" or " a decent standard of living" or "a relatively comfortable life" "to lead a life" or "to ensure or to achieve a standard of living" "to lead a life on minimum wage" "to achieve a standard of living receiving the minimum wage" I prefer " to lead a decent life (relying )on minimum wage" because "without the" it sounds more overall and general to me. Thanks again, Best regards, ie1133 ----------------
