Message from the instructor
My text correction will initially make corrections to grammar and spelling mistakes. There will also be focus on many other aspects of a text, for example achieving the required meaning with appropriate mood and nuance while respecting social and cultural aspects within the text. I will make comments on the use of phrases and expressions with regard to how appropriate they might be and give alternative suggestions. I have an honours degree in Modern Languages (English and French) and a TESOL post graduate teaching certificate with distinction. My style will, of course be helpful and friendly.

Thank you, Moss. You gave me alternative words, lot of them are new to me, or even I have never seen, such as, parentage, outweigh, albeit I also didn't know "holiday" is used as verb. I'm always thinking if information of the article in question has to be included in an essay, or not. I try to write the information in my own words, but, sometimes, I skip it, since the number of words has to be less than one hundred. "it was also ungracious, to use as his excuse, that the trip was for the benefit of his daughters." " I think it unlikely, that he will succeed at the next election." These two sentences are of quite difficult structures. Stay safe and healthy. Spring is coming, it's just around the corner. Yoko

Hello, Mr.Moss This time, I wrote in a casual way, like when I talk to my friend. You sensed my intention and corrected to be better. There are such a big difference between British English and American English, that is interesting. "pyjamas" is new to me and also to Google. It's funny that Google Chrome doesn't recognize it and put a red dots line underneath because it is an American. presentable attire I'd best get on and..... I should get on and memorize them for use next time. Thank you so much. I wish you stay safe and have a good year. Yoko
