Hi Lynne, Thank you for correcting this essay and offering a lot of example sentences! When I read your comment on filler words, I felt like the scales fell from my eyes, because I have just begun avoiding filler words. "Actually" can be one of them. Last night I found a good advice on an English learning blog saying speakers should pause, think, and answer before making a comment on something. This worked.
