Dear Emendatio, Thank you very much for your correction and very useful information for writing! It was the first time for me to watch a leech moving around on the ground, I actually have been bitten by land leechs several years ago. When my father and I stayed at a small hotel in a mountain, we went walking around the hotel before dinner. I suddenly felt strong pains in my ancles and found many small slimy things were crimbing up my sneakers to bite my skin. I was frightened and flew back to the hotel with screaming. Please be careful if you have an opportunity to visit mountains in Tochigi prefecture. Again, I really appreciate your help as always. Best regards, Ayako Nara
