Hobbies/Travel
I lived in Thailand for a year and enjoyed immersing myself into their fascinating culture. While I was staying there, I travelled to Cambodia and Malaysia. I love the different tastes of Asian cooking. I have also visited many European countries: Holland, Spain, France, Portugal, Malta, Ireland and Hungary. Amsterdam is a very beautiful city which I highly recommend visiting. It is calm and relaxed, the people are friendly and happy, and the lavender fields are stunning. However, my favourite country is my own, the UK. The capital city, London, is a blending pot of different cultures, as well as being a mix of old and modern. The city never sleeps, and there is always something to do. One day I would love the chance to visit Japan. I love the food, especially Katsu curry! My hobbies include writing (I am currently working on a novel and a television script), watching crime dramas, walking, discussing politics (I am actively involved in a political party in the UK) and keeping up with current events.
Message from the instructor
I am very happy you have come to page and I would cherish the opportunity to correct your work. As a well experienced teacher and proofreader, I have a wide knowledge of the English language and can help you understand grammar in a simple way that you can remember. My goal is for you to use English naturally, so I will choose vocabulary that I would use as a native speaker and provide examples to help you understand. I look forward to working with you.

Thank you for teaching me kindly, and not only my work but also my massage! I understand it' strange to use that 'there are' and passive tense at the same time in a sentence. It's very hot today too! haha Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Dear Mrs. LondonWriter, Thank you very much for your corrections and explanation in detailed every time. I understood very well that you explained to avoid using "careless" from cultural differences. It was very interested for me. Because I have heard that most of Japanese says sorry too often and humbled ourselves. That makes sense for me. As for "reminder", when I read this sentence of 'set a reminder for every appointment'., I thought that's exactly what I wanted to write. I am happy that you have altered my manuscript. Thank you. Best wishes.

Dear Mrs. LondonWriter, I am sorry for the delay in sending my feedback. As you explained, I wanted to highlight that the packages had not been delivered. I use passive sentence from now on. Also, I did not understand the difference in nuance between 'take' and 'bring' until you pointed out. Thank you for teaching me many other expressions. Your explanation was specific and detailed for me. Kind regards,

Thank you for teaching me kindly and some alternatives. I haven't noticed that I didn't mention 'he is lying'. It was important information to describe the photo! And I got to know some new words again thanks to you! See you next time.
