Message from instructor: I aim to provide each customer with a positive learning experience in English. Using my teaching skills and experience (25 years), I will ensure my English text corrections are of the highest quality. I value patience and kindness and understand the importance of these qualities when communicating with customers. By encouraging, supporting, and giving clear and detailed explanations, I know I will be making a difference to those I work with. When I am not teaching, I like to run long distances and have now run 5 marathons altogether. I am learning to play the ukulele, and I love to travel to new places. When I want to relax, I read a variety of books as they help me learn new things about the world we live in. I love books about different cultures and history, as well as books based on real-life events.
Hobbies / favorite countries / countries visited: I love to run long distances and have run the New York Marathon three times now and have run five marathons in total. I have also lived and worked in Nagoya, Japan, as an English teacher, and I have visited Japan as a tourist during April, which was Cherry Blossom season - very beautiful!
Approach to corrections: My English text correction style is very professional and supportive. I am an experienced teacher and am now a qualified proofreader and editor. I understand the importance of patience, kindness, and a personalized experience when communicating with a customer. These are the things that provide a positive learning experience. Guidance, support, and high-quality explanations when correcting grammar and spelling are a must.
