I can offer decades of experience from working as a journalist, linguist, editor and teacher. Hobbies/Travel: Apart from English, I'm passionate about the environment, animals and spending time in nature hiking and kayaking. I've travelled to many countries and it's hard to pick a favorite, but those I know the best are my own country (South Africa), the United States (where I spend a lot of time because I have family there), the United Kingdom (where I have many friends) and Spain - I am learning Spanish as an adult, which keeps me humble!
