* Please note that I am on leave for a few days and will return on Tuesday 3rd May. Thank you * I really enjoy working for IDIY as an English teacher. I am passionate about languages and respect and admire the enthusiasm and dedication of Japanese learners, who I find to be polite, thoughtful, determined, and hard-working. I return my orders within 12 hours, and often much sooner. I know how frustrating it can be to wait for a corrected document when you have deadlines to meet, so I always aim to return a very natural-sounding version of your writing, taking time over detail and with consideration for your audience and the nature of your document. I have a few regular customers with whom I enjoy exchanging short messages in the message box. I love to learn about Japanese culture and very much hope to visit Japan one day. I would love to be able to help you with your English! Best wishes, Catherine

My hobbies are running, cycling, walking and cooking. I also love to travel and experience different cultures, lifestyles and languages. I have visited Canada, America, South Africa, Thailand, Spain, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Greece, Cyprus, Switzerland, Andorra and Holland. I would love to visit Australia, New Zealand and Japan! I also love to spend time with my family and explore France, where we moved to in 2014. I am married with two children, we have two cats and we live in a very beautiful and rural area in the South of France. In July 2021 we will be moving back to England.
添削へのこだわり・メッセージ
I pride myself on my accuracy when correcting orders. I love to analyse languages and understand the etymology of words. I aim to correct orders in the most natural style possible so that you can learn to write and speak English as a native speaker.

Dear Catherine, Thank you very much for your correction! I really think that people should not get married to anyone whom they don't want to go on a trip with. In the late 1990's, we often heard a word "Narita divorce"; Narita means Narita international airport. Because the economy was good, many couples went on a honey moon to foreign countries and found out they got a wrong wife or husband then divorced at the airport. At that time, people had not get used to go abroad, wives said that reliable husbands didn't seem to be reliable anymore out of Japan. Again, I really appreciate your help as always. Best regards, Ayako Nara

Thank you for your kind comment! I felt better soon after all. I made a mistake again to use ‘now’ or ‘ at the moment’. It is difficult. And I learnt ‘on one’s stomach’. Preposition is very important but I often make a mistake how to use. Thank you for your checking:)
