* Please note that I am on leave for a few days and will return on Tuesday 3rd May. Thank you * I really enjoy working for IDIY as an English teacher. I am passionate about languages and respect and admire the enthusiasm and dedication of Japanese learners, who I find to be polite, thoughtful, determined, and hard-working. I return my orders within 12 hours, and often much sooner. I know how frustrating it can be to wait for a corrected document when you have deadlines to meet, so I always aim to return a very natural-sounding version of your writing, taking time over detail and with consideration for your audience and the nature of your document. I have a few regular customers with whom I enjoy exchanging short messages in the message box. I love to learn about Japanese culture and very much hope to visit Japan one day. I would love to be able to help you with your English! Best wishes, Catherine
趣味・好きな国・訪問した国
My hobbies are running, cycling, walking and cooking. I also love to travel and experience different cultures, lifestyles and languages. I have visited Canada, America, South Africa, Thailand, Spain, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Greece, Cyprus, Switzerland, Andorra and Holland. I would love to visit Australia, New Zealand and Japan! I also love to spend time with my family and explore France, where we moved to in 2014. I am married with two children, we have two cats and we live in a very beautiful and rural area in the South of France. In July 2021 we will be moving back to England.
添削へのこだわり・メッセージ
I pride myself on my accuracy when correcting orders. I love to analyse languages and understand the etymology of words. I aim to correct orders in the most natural style possible so that you can learn to write and speak English as a native speaker.

Dear catymcd, Thank you for corrections for this topic, too. > When you write 'all events in my life' you are referring to each and every one of them, therefore you should express them as individual things by writing 'a root cause' (to each event), rather than 'root causes'. This is very new to me that helps me choosing articles! >reasons to my problems We Japanese usually never put the preposition "to" in this case but will choose "of". I want to be more accustomed with prepositions so that the righte words naturally come to my mind. I also liked the alternative phrases you suggested. Those are beautiful. > appreciate all the negative experiences (Here also, I would put "for" after "appreciate") There are many things I learn from you. Thank you as always. Asouka

Dear catymcd, Thank you for the correction and many inputs again like the different usage of something, things, any, any of, etc. It was very helpful since the difference of scenes where to use those words were obscure to me. And I liked the phrase "Our daily lives are facilitated by online shopping" that never came to my idea. Thank you very much again. I agree with you that our lives are facilitated by online shopping but it gives us too-much-shopping problem as well. Sincerely yours, Asouka
