* Please note that I am on leave for a few days and will return on Tuesday 3rd May. Thank you * I really enjoy working for IDIY as an English teacher. I am passionate about languages and respect and admire the enthusiasm and dedication of Japanese learners, who I find to be polite, thoughtful, determined, and hard-working. I return my orders within 12 hours, and often much sooner. I know how frustrating it can be to wait for a corrected document when you have deadlines to meet, so I always aim to return a very natural-sounding version of your writing, taking time over detail and with consideration for your audience and the nature of your document. I have a few regular customers with whom I enjoy exchanging short messages in the message box. I love to learn about Japanese culture and very much hope to visit Japan one day. I would love to be able to help you with your English! Best wishes, Catherine
趣味・好きな国・訪問した国
My hobbies are running, cycling, walking and cooking. I also love to travel and experience different cultures, lifestyles and languages. I have visited Canada, America, South Africa, Thailand, Spain, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Greece, Cyprus, Switzerland, Andorra and Holland. I would love to visit Australia, New Zealand and Japan! I also love to spend time with my family and explore France, where we moved to in 2014. I am married with two children, we have two cats and we live in a very beautiful and rural area in the South of France. In July 2021 we will be moving back to England.
添削へのこだわり・メッセージ
I pride myself on my accuracy when correcting orders. I love to analyse languages and understand the etymology of words. I aim to correct orders in the most natural style possible so that you can learn to write and speak English as a native speaker.

Dear Catherine, Thank you very much for your help! I didn't know that "talk" also has the same meaning as "lecture". Now I understood why "TED talks". I'm really sorry that I cannot send you stars. I hope they will fix this system very soon. I have to write many E-mails in English everyday for work, I think my writing has been improved a lot. Thank you very much!! Kind regards, Ayako Nara

Dear Catherine, Thank you very much for your correction! I hope this technology will have been put to practical use when I have a serious disease some day. This professor used to a clinicians. As he see a lot of patients, he decided to become a researcher because only researchers can help patients massively. I want to give you five stars though, the new system doesn't work.. Please don't take it wrong way. I really appreciate your help. Kind regards, Ayako Nara

Hello Catherine, Thank you very much for your answer, now I think it's clear to me! After a colon, the following sentence will explain what does the sentence before the colon mean. Semi-colon is just inbetween comma and period; it put two independent clauses together.(←is it correct?) I will try to use colon and semicolon more often for practicing. If you find the usage is wrong, please tell me so! Again, thank you very much for your explanation. Best regards, Ayako Nara

Thank you very much for praising my English. Staying in NZ was just 5 months, it was too short to master English. So I have kept studying English. I am going to apply English lesson at the same school as I went to.
