Thank you for kind comments! In addition, I could learned the new word 'pertinent' from your writing.
Thank you for your correction and comments! It doesn't matter to me that your correction takes several days, so don't worry about that. The smell and taste of Natto don't bother me - of course I don't think it has a good smell - probably because I've eaten it since I was in an elementary school. However, my parents always say they didn't like the food when they were young, though they like Natto very much now. I recommend eating Natto with some miced vegetables if you have a chance to try Natto but the taste is too unique for you. In Japan, minced green onion, grated Japanese white raddish, chopped okra are good to eat with Natto, although the smell is hard to soften...
Thank you for your correction, answers and comments! They are really helpful to me as always. I would miss cooking if I didn't have chance to cook every day, as you said. It's lucky that I can enjoy meals that someone else cooks, but, I want to cook by myself at least sometimes, too. I hope you and your daughter can enjoy cooking together!
Thank you for your correction and comments! Fukubukuros are so popular in Japan so that many department stores get overcrowded on January 2nd and 3rd. Other shops also sell Fukubukuros, but those sold in department stores are outstandingly popular. Chrismas crackers sounds really an enjoyable event! It would be very exciting to wait for pulling one's cracker, imagining what would be the present!
Thank you for your warm compassion and true understanding to this woman. I believe you are so good daughter being gently dutiful to your mother. I wish to write sometimes more about this woman's life in future. Sending my greeting of consolation to your mother and thanks for you, kiyoko
Hi florianna, Thank you for your support. Now I must have to get skills to writing English naturally, and smoothly. I want to write more effective, and I want to get confidence to communicate to English speaker. So, I will write more and more. Nao
Thank you for your correction and comments! I learned a lot from you this time, too!
Thank you for your correction and comments! They were relly helpful to me, as always!
Thank you for your correction and comments! I've never tried baking nor eating angel cake, Madeira cake and Victoria Sponge; I think I seldom have an opportunity to see the cakes in Japan. I saw pictures of them on Google, and they look very delicious! I'd like to try both baking and eating them in the near future!
Thank you so much for your correction and gentle comments! As you said "I think, though, that perhaps you so vividly remember her that it felt you should use the present tense when thinking of her by name," I failed to use past tense though Kurumi passed away many years ago. My family and I really loved her. I'm really glad that you corrected my sentences because now I can explain about Kurumi more naturally to my friends in English!
Thank you for your comment and edtion. In Japan traffic rules are very strict. Even touching smart phones and looking at smart phones while driving are against the rule and ones who violate it is fined. I do not know about this in your country. I think the rule is strict in Japan because there are a lot of traffic accidents with smart phones while driving. See you.
Thank you for your correction and comments! I like your detailed comments every time and it doesn't matter for me that your returning comments takes for several days.
Thank you for your kind reply. I'm happy to read your message. I've learnt a lot from you. Thank you so much!
Dear florianna, Thank you so much for checking my writing. You returned this just on time, so it wasn't not inconvenient for me at all. I learned useful phrases and vocabulary as well from the correction and your comment. Best regards, Yukari0224
