On the tanabata day, kids write a wish on a piece of paper and hung it on a young bamboo tree; we are told that the couple would make your wish come true. Tanabata was imported from China almost one thousand years ago, but it has become a totally different story from the original one. Someone in Japan changed it to an educational story.
