I'm originally from the UK but currently live in Bali. I have visited many countries during my years teaching English, including Greece, Indonesia, India, Japan and The Czech Republic. I also spent a year in Japan teaching Business English in various companies in Tokyo and Chiba and had an amazing experience! Japanese culture and lifestyle was something very different and interesting to me. I also spent seven years teaching General English, Business English and exam preparation in Indonesia and so this is clearly a country I love dearly and have a close connection with.

Thank you so much for your correction and explanations! According to the 1st sentence, I learned that "a fever" means "a high body temperature." I will use it properly in the future diary entries. Our daughter has gotten better and went to nursery school today :) Best regards.

Thank you so much for your corrections and explanations! According to the 1st sentence, I learned the phrase "fond of." I will use it in the next chance. According to the 2nd sentence, I learned the difference between "a carpet" and "a mat." And what I wanted to mention in this sentence was "a mat" as you wrote. It is small and light, so even she can lift it up! Best regards.

Thank you for your feedback with useful explanations as always. I have been searching for this kind of information below for ages! Thank you very much. “As an uncountable noun used to describe a concept generally, an article (the) is not required. The verb "develop" is used in the present simple tense to describe factual information.”

Dear Franky, Thank you very much for the feedback and all the praises, it's always good to receive them ! I like all the pointers to make my text sound more natural. I will never learn else where that I should say ''human race'' if I am using an article but ''humankind'' if I am not. Also I have been using ''scene'' and ''scenary'' interchangeably without any thought. ''A dozen kids'' was an interesting one. I thought dozen can be paired with ''of'' , but after you pointed out, I looked it up in the dictionary and understood that it could be paired with ''of'' if the dozen is plural, for example ''dozens of times''. In this case I was talking ablut twelve kids, so I should right ''a dozen kids''. I look forward to the next opportunity.

Thank you for reviewing my essay. I learned so much from your explanation. Especially, I didn't notice my unnatural expression of conjunctinos. If there is another opportunity,I hope to get your advice again.
