Actually, my daughter has the color-changing glasses and it looks a bit of surprising when the lenses turn dark. In the old days, sunglasses and tattoo were a symbol of the mafia in Japan. I think that bad people were trying to hide their eyes so as to conceal what they were thinking or what they were looking at. But now, many Japanese wear dark sunglasses because they look cool. Anyways, I totally agree with your wife. Wearing a mask isn't for medical purpose, it's for protection against cold dry air in winter. I know how comfortable and cozy to wear a mask. Dear EigoPoint, I see, you live in Japan. Living near a river is nice having a good view and lots of nature, but..... Maybe, you know,,, an underground parking sank under water because of heavy rain in Yokkaichi city. The lower floor fully sank and more than 200 cars were damaged. I've never heard such story before.
