Hobbies/Travel
I enjoy reading (especially Harry Potter and Haruki Murakami), writing (fiction as well as academic papers), playing piano, playing video games (especially Japanese RPGs), and studying the Japanese language. My favorite country that I have visited is Japan! There are so many amazing things to see in your country!
Message from the instructor
I will be happy to help you produce clear, accurate English compositions while giving you additional information on how English works. I appreciate how difficult it must be for Japanese speakers to learn English, and so I will try my best to help you learn the language's complexities. I pay very close attention to details. In particular, I am sensitive to small nuances in meaning. I have studied some Japanese (although I am still a beginner), so I have an idea how different the two languages are. As a result, I can sometimes see what the original intention was according to Japanese grammar, and I can try to find a natural English equivalent. I am available to correct texts any day. I will be able to correct the text within 24 hours.

評価の具体的な理由をご記入ください。 Specific reasons for evaluation: Quick and kind and detailed as below: Dear Teacher David san Thank you very much for your prompt answer. I am always glad to have your many detailed pieces of advice you extended in the answer. When you say, “I appreciate how you always practice using a variety so…….”, this is delighting me very much, because I tried to use a lot of phrases that I was not sure they made sense as English expressions. Among a lot of tips you showed me , I put some up as below: “Reading your sentence, I am unsure what type of "system" you are talking about.” ////I’m sorry to have bothered you with a vague sentence. What I mean is a system in which a tax office can search for how much MR X earns annually and keeps now in his bank account. “A fair catching system” can reveal who really needs a social aid. In the price- soaring phase in Japan, all is said and done, they deliver a check to every person. It is no use for millionaires and consequently causes a huge financial deficit. "Compared to Europe, people have less faith in the government to use tax revenue properly." //// "Rely on, having trust in" I have found that there is a gap in translation of “rely” and” trust”. A certain same Kanji character is used in the translated word for both “rely” and “trust”. The Kanji means sometimes “asking for help” and on another occasion “believing .” Therefor I have not have an accurate comprehension of these two words. I used “rely on” in the meaning of “believing”, but if I wanted to mean “believing”, I should have used “trust.” Best Regards,
