Thank you for your considerate answers! Those are all great classic novels. I know all of the authors' names but I haven't read their works, unfortunately. I usually read contemporary novels, non-fictions and, popular science. I have rarely read cassic novels so far. I think they have some great ideas and that is why they are being read over many years around the world (of course, they are so famous here in Japan). I would like to try to read them.
