What I wanted to say in this sentence was, "In such a challenging situation, I found a gracious person (to whom I want to show my respect)" Does this sentence make sense? I've read Lao-tze in ancient Chinese before (it was quite difficult,,,) "The Tao of Pooh?" probably explains Taoism clearly and simply. If so, I want to try it.
