Hello :) I'm Stu and I'm happy to teach you English! If you are looking for help with Business English, Conversational English, Academic Writing or General Skill, I can help. I have been a professional English teacher for 3 years now and love my job! I live in Vancouver, Canada although I was born in the UK. I can speak both American and British English, so if you have a question about the differences, don't hesitate to ask. Thank you for visiting my profile and I hope to talk to you soon. Best Stu
趣味・好きな国・訪問した国
My hobbies are martial arts, playing video games, watching movies and writing stories. I live in Vancouver, Canada and I'm thirty-three years old. I've visited Japan a few times and my favorite place is Arashiyama. I was very lucky a few years ago and got to spend some time traveling while I was working. This allowed me to live in a few different countries, such as Spain, England, France, The Netherlands, Germany and even Japan.
添削へのこだわり・メッセージ
I try to explain the rules of English using normal words, so that it's easier to understand. I know that there are so many rules to remember, but it's my hope that if we work on understanding why the rules exist, it will be easier to remember them and use them when speaking English. Please let me know if I can improve in some way. I would definitely appreciate your feedback.

Thank you for your advice very much. I am always pointed out in my long sentence. I would consider the sentence length or the sentence structure more simply. Next do my better or best. Thanks a lots.

Dear Stu, Thank you very much for your kind corrections and explanations. Unfortunately, there is only one thing I couldn't clearly understand. > The recipe is vegetables and pork within miso soup - that's what the word means, rather than it being something that "has." I understand what you mean, but couldn't find out why "which is kinds of ..." can mean "the recipe is ...." Unless the question is cleared, I wouldn't be able to utilize what you taught me for my writing. Maybe I miss some gramatical knowledge to clear this. Unfortunately, I cannot pose a question having no point, but maybe some more thinking time may clear this question. Others are fine! Thank you as always. Have a good day! Asouka

Dear Stu, Thank you for the correction and kind advices. Articles and numeration are very difficult. hot springs, a spa, stiff shoulders, a massage, etc. are very difficult to distinguish the numeration. For example, "go to hot springs or a spa" sounds very natural to me, but cannot find out the logical reason for the numeration. (why spa is singular while hot spring takes plural form) In the same way, it is not clear to me why low-back pain takes singular form while stiff shoulder is in plural. I need to try and learn much more about articles and numeration, but many things became clear by your advice at the same time. Thank you very much, I will try and ask you for the correction again! Best regards, Asouka
