講師からお知らせ
Hi, my name is Lea and I am a 46-year-old guy from a lovely city called Gloucestershire which is in the southwest of the United Kingdom. Gloucestershire is in the heart of the Cotswolds and is famous for the crazy cheese rolling event that happens yearly. Since leaving college in 1992 I have been in the electrical business in a managerial role and have studied electronics, health and safety and human resources. In 2012, I studied English and succeeded in an English TESOL course with Global English. Since passing my course I have been experiencing teaching English online and it has been one of the most enjoyable and rewarding jobs of my career. I started teaching in the classroom in the north of Thailand and trained over 2500 students in the English program which consisted of English, Maths, Science, Geography and PE. So far I have taught English to students worldwide and I have met some passionate, friendly and intelligent students who dream of speaking fluent English. I have taken over 40,000 online classes meeting around 30,000 people. I am an enthusiastic individual who enjoys speaking to people and likes to encourage and bring the best out of everyone. I love all types of sport; love to keep fit and healthy and I love travelling and foreign food. I look forward to meeting you and encouraging you to become more confident and fluent in your English learning journey, with writing, using vocabulary, expressions and colourful English language.

I lived in Thailand for eight months of the year teaching and then lived in England, and Spain, for the rest. My favourite films are Taken and Castaway. I like to encourage students as much as possible, I am here to help and I want to get the best out of our customers. I want them to feel comfortable working with me and students must never get upset by my corrections, they are there to help, I never want to embarrass the student or make them feel they have lost confidence in carrying on learning the subject. I like to make correcting tactful. I am here to help you succeed in speaking, writing, listening and thinking in a good standard of English. I will teach you all the important things about the English language, this will include tenses, sentence order, spelling, expressions, phrasal verbs, idioms and word usage. I will teach you phrases that we use in our everyday language. This will help you communicate in English with friends, in conversations, or on the internet, or even to be successful in getting employment.

    more naturalになるように直した、というのは、直さなくても間違ってはいないと捉えて良いのか迷います。

Dear leahook, Thank you for your reply. Nagoya is actually a convenient and historical city and has a lot of things to see. However, as you wrote, there are many pachinko (gambling machine) parlors there. I think that it has pros and cons. Anyway, I would love to go to the Disney in Florida someday. I heard its hospitality is superior to that of Tokyo Disneyland. Have a great weekend ahead. Best, Yoko

Dear leahook, Thank you for your correction and message! Randserus are unique to Japan indeed, and they have special meanings for parents. Buying randoserus is something like a celebration. That's why they are so expensive, I suppose. I've been working for a department store and in the first year I happened to sell randoserus. I have been to a randoserus' factory also. I was impressed to see how they were made with great care. However, I remember that I didn't want to have a randoseru as a child, since I was scared of going to an elementary school. The randoseru looked so heavy and I felt pressured. Thank you as always and please have a lovely day. Miho
