講師からお知らせ: I am a Canadian-born native English speaker now residing in Costa Rica. I have a university degree and a post-graduate certificate in G.I.S. (Geographical Information Systems) from McMaster University. I have visited many cultures for extended periods of time and teach children English in an area where there is no opportunity to practice. I understand the frustrations and excitement of learning a new language and way of thinking. My proofreading style encompasses three areas: 1) checking your English for grammatical errors and use of everyday English; 2) making sure your meaning comes across to the reader even though it is crossing both language and cultural differences; 3) offering suggestions to improve the style and construction of your composition. I enjoy working for IDIY and their clients because I enjoy teaching while at the same time it gives me the opportunity to learn about the Japanese culture.
趣味・好きな国・訪問した国: My hobbies include breeding and photographing horses, horseback riding, making cheese and gardening. My favorite countries are Canada, Costa Rica, and Indonesia. I have also visited the Solomon Islands, the Dominican Republic, Curacao, England, Spain, Italy, Fiji, and the U.S.A.
