What I meant was in a general sense, so I should have wrote ''in prevoius Games''. The use or not of the article ''the'' is always a tricky one for a non-native speaker. Frank's sonata (I guess) is sometimes played by the cello, and that's one of my favorite! Congratulations! As you said, the period of preparation is quite important and fun time.
