I'm afraid since 2024 weather in Japan has been significantly changed, less snowing in winter and hotter days in summer. Generally, Japanese people used to think summer is from July to August, but recently, it expanded to June to September. Considering my age, I guess my life may be about another two decades, but my six-year-old-granddaughter will have to endure the severe weather much much longer. How the weather will be like when she becomes my age? Like the story about veganism, people might have made a mistake. Vegan diet doesn't cause a serious problem, but like the story above, we have made huge mistakes that can't be taken back. Sorry I wrote sad, negative idea. We shouldn't be pessimistic. Seems like, becoming a fluent English speaker isn't their goal any more. Probably, remarkable development of AI discourages them, or also, they don't want to go abroad because of the current weak Yen. I checked the meaning and the pronunciation, as well. I knew that such teaching styles are effective to learn two subjects. When I visited Singapore, I took Chinese language classes where the teacher taught me in English. I enjoyed a lot.Singapore is a good place for me because I can learn Chinese and English simultaneously.
