Hobbies/Travel
I enjoy reading (especially Harry Potter and Haruki Murakami), writing (fiction as well as academic papers), playing piano, playing video games (especially Japanese RPGs), and studying the Japanese language. My favorite country that I have visited is Japan! There are so many amazing things to see in your country!
Message from the instructor
I will be happy to help you produce clear, accurate English compositions while giving you additional information on how English works. I appreciate how difficult it must be for Japanese speakers to learn English, and so I will try my best to help you learn the language's complexities. I pay very close attention to details. In particular, I am sensitive to small nuances in meaning. I have studied some Japanese (although I am still a beginner), so I have an idea how different the two languages are. As a result, I can sometimes see what the original intention was according to Japanese grammar, and I can try to find a natural English equivalent. I am available to correct texts any day. I will be able to correct the text within 24 hours.

Hi Teacher David Thank you so much for correcting my composition. I would like to become an excellent writer in English because I am very good at writing Japanese. The gap between my Japanese writing skill and English skill is unlikely to amend so instantly. However,I will keep going, never give up to improve my English. I am looking forward to your checking my writing someday soon!!1

Dear Teacher David, Thank your very much for your feedback. Those are great help to enlarge my phrases and English skills as well. Also, Your gave me answer of my question. It's great! I got what I had wanted to. I am really enjoy to see a YouTube video of "Moana review". Thanks to your advice, I have learned different meaning between "impression" and "review". I always appreciate all your useful options and comments. Okd2016

The use of "slim", such as "slim chance" is a new one for me. I have memorized it. I think it is very useful. Thanks a lot, David!

Dear David, Thank you for all your feedbacks and answer of my questions. I was able to easily imagine of diference between "contain" and "include". Beside on this, I found that "X include Y" is without "in" ,thanks to your comments. I also have mistook that it's not "bergen" ,but "bargain". And I'm pleased to hear of Canada's big sales day "Boxing day". It's first time to hear of the 26th day in Canada. Knowing other country's custom would be great help for me to learning English more widely. Best regards, Okd2016

Dear Teacher David, I really appreciate your feedbacks. All your feedbacks help me understanding what natural sentences are. Especially, I have had some phrases to express correctly and precisely. Beside this, I was very surprised to see that you used Japanese "は" in your answer of my question. That works very very effectively for me to learn about specific parse "As for". I would like to thank you for all your considerate coaching in this year. Okd2016
