Hobbies/Travel
I enjoy reading (especially Harry Potter and Haruki Murakami), writing (fiction as well as academic papers), playing piano, playing video games (especially Japanese RPGs), and studying the Japanese language. My favorite country that I have visited is Japan! There are so many amazing things to see in your country!
Message from the instructor
I will be happy to help you produce clear, accurate English compositions while giving you additional information on how English works. I appreciate how difficult it must be for Japanese speakers to learn English, and so I will try my best to help you learn the language's complexities. I pay very close attention to details. In particular, I am sensitive to small nuances in meaning. I have studied some Japanese (although I am still a beginner), so I have an idea how different the two languages are. As a result, I can sometimes see what the original intention was according to Japanese grammar, and I can try to find a natural English equivalent. I am available to correct texts any day. I will be able to correct the text within 24 hours.

Hi David, Thank you very much for correcting this essay and offering a lot of alternatives! I like your "If he'd had a sympathetic ear to share his problems with..." This is fascinating! And I'm impressed by "His behavior is surprising but understandable given his position." This is concise and I really want to express my opinions in such a pithy way. Have a lovely Monday! Many thanks as always, Kaori

Thank you for correcting my English and taking example sentences. Also, I'm glad you gave me advice about my next goal: going through the drive-through at McDonald's. I appreciate it.

Thank you for your quick reply. However, I have misspelled in the second sentence. It is not ...the exit in "recent years" but it should be ...the exit in the "yard." It must have confused you. Thank you for your advice. You are right. I parked my car "inside" the Church. I should have written "in" the church, not at the church. Thanks to your advice, I have known the difference in usage between "in" and "at."

I learnt many things -"based on the tone of", the difference between "in" and "for" and so - this time too. Also, thank you for answering my questions. Thank you for always helping me.

Hello David, Thank you very much for your correction! It was so helpful to me as always. By the way, this type of bosses might have existed before, but now proper communication skills are required for everyone, so it seem hard to be found lately. Please have a lovely day. Miho

Thank you for your quick responce to my eassy. I would have been happier if you told me whether you would have the same experience as mine --receiving an email from strangers with the same name of your acquaintances.

Thank you for correcting my English. You are right. It happened in the past. I should have put" once" in the first sentence as I saw it in the past.. Thank you for letting me know it.

Hello David, Thank you for your correction. I forgot to change the order of the name this time! However, I am always not sure how to pronounce foreign names in English. I have to look them up even if I'm familiar with them in 'katakana'. (I think you must have noticed the complexity ..) Thank you very much and I am looking forward to the next time! Miho

Thsnk you for your quick response. I wanted to know whether my English sounded natural or not. If not, I wanted you to point out a part which did not sound natural.

Hello David, Thank you for your correction as always! Regarding this topic, there were more things to say, but the characters were limited. I liked the form of paper books, but recently I have changed my mind. Ebooks are definitely convenient especially when I have to look up words'meaning! Please have a lovely day, Miho

Tank you for your comments. "Built-in" is the sentence I want to explain! And I used "recording" which mean "recording conversation" you said in comments. So I think risk of spreading not-mine private information. Anyways, I can learn new sentences from your comments.Thank you!

Thank you for correcting my English. Although I wrote the answer to your question on the essay of the last time---absent-minded, feeling bad,---I wanted to know whether you understood my explanation about it.
